Music Program
Instrumental Lessons
Kildare Catholic College offers a variety of extra-curricular instrumental lessons to students of all skill levels. Our experienced tutors are committed to helping students reach their full musical potential.
Students can choose from lessons in a variety of instruments including, but not limited to, guitar, drums, bass, cello, violin and vocals. Lessons typically last 20 or 30 minutes and are held once a week during class time. Students may choose to develop skills across a number of areas including technique, sight-reading, performance and composition.

Ensembles
Kildare Catholic College offers opportunities to be in a variety of ensembles. These ensembles are led by experienced conductors and offer students the opportunity to play a variety of instruments and perform in a variety of settings. The ensembles include, but are not limited to, wind ensemble, string ensemble, choir and rock bands. These ensembles cater to variety of skills levels and help to build vital skills in ensemble communication and awareness and performance technique.
Our ensembles are provided with a variety of performance opportunities both within the College and the wider community, and regularly compete in the Wagga and Leeton Eisteddfods.

Performances
Kildare Catholic College is proud to present a variety of performances throughout the year, including an annual Shakespeare production and alternating variety shows and musicals. These performances are open to the public and feature talented students from all disciplines.
Our annual Shakespeare productions are a unique and exciting way to experience classical works. Our students bring these plays to life with their passion and dedication, and their performances are consistently met with acclaim.
Our bi-annual musicals and variety shows are a celebration of music, dance, and theatre. Our students work tirelessly to put on these productions, and their energy and enthusiasm are contagious. Our musicals are always a hit with audiences of all ages.
